Our highly selective process expedites hiring for human resource departments looking to fill positions quickly. Veterans Outreach Program of Illinois aims to best understand the unique needs of all of our employers. We ask that your company briefly meet with a representative from our or

ganization to understand your staffing requests, current job availability and specifications. We receive funding from the United States Department of Labor, Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity, and through numerous private donations. Through these yearly grants we are able to provide our quality services to Veterans and employers at no charge.

An Iraq and Afghan veteran currently living on my VA disability alone. I was supposed to start a new job earlier this year which fell through because of the COVID. I am falling behind on my bills, facing eviction, and need to find a less expensive place to live so I have some more money to pay down my past due bills. The money raised will be used for first months rent and security deposit, moving truck rental, and any other moving expenses. Any remaining funds after that will be used for the bills. Your generosity could mean the difference between sleeping in my car or couch surfing and having a roof over my head and my own bed to sleep in so I can find a job and get back on my feet. This is a difficult and trying time for all of us, and any help would be very gratefully appreciated.
