During the fall of 2011, the Alexandria-Fairfax Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Incorportated saw a need within both the Chapter and the surrounding communities. Young professionals sought to network with each other and build the relationships that could foster success in their personal lives and careers. As a solution, the chapter created the Younger Brother Committee (YBC) with the

purpose of providing means for these young professionals to network and build relationships. Since its creation, the YBC has made an impact on Northern Virginia, DC and Maryland by hosting powerful networking events and social gatherings for young professionals along with inspirational community investment initiatives. The YBC continues on its mission to foster achievement in the lives of young adults.
