It’s never too early to start teaching our teens the basics about the workforce - how to build a strong resume, offer a confident handshake, and understand the difference between saying “yes” instead of “yeah.”
These small habits matter more than we realize!
Some of my posts may be direct at times, especially when it comes to discipline and accountability. That’s only because I care deeply about preparing young people for the real world.
I’m sharing what helped shape my 28-year-old attorney, my 20-year-old Naval Academy midshipman, and what I’m already teaching my 8-year-old now. The principles don’t change, only the age does (says the mom who had a kid every decade). Ha!
If we want our kids to feel confident and prepared, we have to start early.
More to come.
