Rapides American Job Center Rapides American Job Center (RAJC), in conjunction with the Rapides Workforce Development Board.

American Job Centers are designed to provide a full range of assistance to job seekers under one roof. The centers offer training referrals, career counseling, job listings, and similar employment-related services. Customers can visit the career center during business hours to use computers to register for a HiRE account, create and print resumes, and search and apply for jobs!

The SNAP Job Fair at the Rapides American Job Center was a great success!

This event was hosted by the Louisiana Department of Health, with representatives from Louisiana State Civil Service and Louisiana Works in attendance to share information about available opportunities and the hiring process.

We had 61 participants come through the Rapides American Job Center doors to learn more about Social Services Analyst positions with SNAP.

SNAP is hiring across Louisiana for Social Services Analyst 1-3 positions, with special entrance rates and premium pay available for eligible applicants.

Upcoming hiring events will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the following locations:

June 9: Lake Charles and Hammond
June 10: Baton Rouge and Shreveport
June 11: Houma
June 16: Lafayette
