Our Story

The Alexander City Career Center provides services for job seekers and employers. Job seekers are offered FREE resume writing assistance, employment registration and job search assistance, job search workshops, financial aid and training referral, work-based learning and on-the-job training opportunities. The Career Center Resource room offers you access to computers for job searching, completing online applications, and updating and printing resumes. We also have copiers, fax, and email services available. For employers we offer FREE posting of job openings and job fairs, pre-employment screening, resume referrals, and WIOA funding for on-the-job training, which includes no less than 50% wage reimbursement for up to 6 months when you hire qualified applicants in need of on-the-job training.
