Harness Assembly/Production

Pay = $14/hr.
- $0.50 shift differential for 2nd and 3rd shift contractors

Currently have openings on all shifts currently
1st shift = 8am-4pm
2nd shift = 4pm-12am
3rd shift = 12am-8am
Typically will not work a lot of overtime while on contract, but may work some once trained depending on business need

- Secure proper types and quantities of tubing and fittings according to instructions on job routings and building templates
- Assemble proper fittings to tubing and tighten fittings as specified, avoiding crossing of threads
- Setup and run automated cutting equipment, including loading reels into payouts and string tubing through machine and ability to navigate the operator interface
- Troubleshoot and calibrate equipment as needed
- Manually manipulate tubing into fixtures requiring hand strength. Push loaded carts in and out of ovens and cooling chambers to produce quality products
- Perform respool operation including pressure testing while paying particular attention to quality, required line speed and recording accurate data
- Perform packaging operations including: build spools, package finished products, operate stretch wrap machine, utilize crane to move large reels, and apply appropriate labels for final shipping
- Setup depth marking machines which includes checking the tolerance of distance between end of tube and depth mark using the vertical height gage
- Set up assembly tables using mylar and retrieve head fixture assembling harness according to mylar template. Form tubing fixture using correct part number, traveler and training paper for assembly
- Tape assembled tubing fixtures using repetitive wrist motions up to seventy per minute. Required grip strength up to 70 lb. force through the grip and 10-20 lb. force to pull and rotate the wrist around the harness
- Operate steam forming machine which includes startup/shut down procedures, loading of product along with necessary quality checks
- Ability to complete all necessary production paperwork which includes production numbers, quality checks, day by hour sheets along with updating any information on the team boards.

Plastic Extrusion Operator openings

Pay = $17.97+ depending upon experience
- $0.50 shift differential for 2nd and 3rd shift contractors

Single barrel, continuous line plastic extrusion machine operation to create hoses and fittings of various shapes and sizes
Make complete line setups on jobs from charts and specifications.
Operate line, maintaining proper speeds, adjustments, etc., to insure a quality product and production rates.
Perform continuous inspections of product both visual as well as through the use of micrometers and calipers. Record product and process parameters.
Perform repairs to equipment, assist others in maintenance when major repairs to any equipment on assigned line are required.
Complete all necessary records and reports as required, giving particular attention to proper part number, job number and quantity per pallet or reel
Insert product weights on Production Tickets
Package product according to instructions to include the making of cartons and spools as required.
Gather materials, load hoppers and grind scrap product as required by operational needs.
Assemble packaging materials as required by Job Sheet.
Keep extrusion line and surrounding area clean and orderly at all times
Must be able to run straight-out core tube
Will learn to operate crosshead - sheathing, Multitube bundles and run a three-layer core tube head and servers, operate two-layer sheathing head, ink-jet and packaging equipment.

• Utilize various types of equipment depending upon the department assigned (converting or corrugating)
• Will complete physical tasks including lifting, carrying, twisting, etc. during production
• Performing housekeeping functions to aid in keeping machinery functioning properly, reducing hazards and maintaining the appearance of the plant
• Contributing to a team environment by cross training and filling in for other operators during absences and breaks
• Completing and maintaining all daily inspections and downtime reports

• This position will participate in housekeeping duties such as sweeping sawdust and keeping machinery free from debris.

3rd Shift (7pm-7am)
- Will work some OT
- Will train on first shift (7am-3pm)

- Will be trained to operate extrusion equipment based on given instructions to create specific colors for plastic material
- Will have to occasionally clean blending and mixing equipment - this involves physically getting inside of blenders and equipment that is high off of the ground for a short period of time while in a safety harness. May have to perform this task multiple times in a given week
- Follow detailed work instructions
- Verify and load raw materials into scale/weighing equipment
- Maintain a clean work area at all times
- Operate forklift on occasion

First shift
Monday-Friday, 7am-3pm (OT available)

Responsible for all tasks pertaining to shipping and receiving of building material products
Load and unload trucks and stage material appropriately
Pick customer orders and utilize RF scanner
Handle all customer orders/packages carefully
Assist priority customers at the Will Call counter
Assist with keeping the warehouse clean and organized
Follow all appropriate safety procedures

General Labor
1st shift: Moday - Friday 7am to 3pm
2nd shift: Monday - Friday, 3pm to 11pm
3rd shift: Monday - Friday 11pm to 7am

Work in various departments throughout the plant based on past work experience/skillset
Contractors will be involved with various processes involving the production of aluminum parts for the automotive industry
Perform quality checks on product size, color, etc. before moving forward to further processes
Departments candidates can be selected for:
- Finishing
- Molding
- Machining
- Shipping/Receiving
- Trim
Will lift up to 40lbs throughout the duration of the shift
Must be open to working overtime (when busy will work 10 hour shifts, with some weekends)
Work tasks can be repetitive

Additional Skills & Qualifications
Attendance and timeliness are very important. They use a point system.

2nd Shift Distribution Center Associate Openings (These openings will fill quickly)

- 2nd Shift hours: 4pm-12:30am - 3rd shift
- Can expect to work overtime currently ( About 10 hours per week for upcoming holiday season ramp)

- Complete various tasks associated with processing orders and inventory throughout the Distribution Center
- Fill out appropriate shipping documentation, purchase orders, and worksheets tracking production for thousands of dollars' worth of jewelry daily
- Process UPS and FedEx orders as well as store returns
- Work on computer at times to track inventory and perform cycle counts
- Use RF scanners
- Will work both standing up and sitting down
- Perform quality checks on pieces of jewelry, watches, etc.
- Must be able to lift 20lbs (most packages are very light)
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all appropriate safety guidelines

Will be moved to various departments based on need and contractor skillset
- Inbound/Receiving
- Outbound/Sorting
- Logistics/Returns

- must be completely metal-free! (No jewelry, items in hair, belts, metal in jeans, etc.)
- No employees are permitted to have their phones on the Distribution Center floor at any time
- Distribution Center floor is carpeted, and has cubicles for many work stations with computers - some areas resemble an office more so than a warehouse environment (No forklifts)
