I’m writing my memoir as I go, and I use AI as a creative illustration tool to visualize memories that can’t be filmed anymore. The story is real. The technology simply helps bring atmosphere to moments from the past.
One thing I’ve learned is that I can usually find the year of a memory by looking up what movie was being filmed at the time.

I was on the Culver City lot for an audition — not for Hook, but for something else in a different building. Walking between stages, I noticed a sign that said Hook was filming there. Spielberg. Robin Williams. Big Hollywood energy everywhere.

Then I saw a door with the red light on.

And I remember thinking…
