A report Friday from the Bureau of Labor Statistics is expected to show the U.S. economy added 73,000 jobs in December, while the unemployment rate ticked down to 4.5% from 4.6% the month before, according to a survey of economists by Dow Jones Newswires and The Wall Street Journal.
