Now Hiring - Production Supervisor | Food Manufacturing
Evanston, IL | 1st Shift | Direct Hire
We are looking for an experienced Production Supervisor to lead daily operations at a food production facility in Evanston. This is a direct hire opportunity with a competitive salary and full benefits package.
Pay: $80,000 - $85,000 based on experience
Full-time, with flexibility for overtime and weekends as needed
Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily production operations and production staff
- Ensure compliance with food safety, GMP, HACCP, and company policies
- Monitor production schedules to meet customer and operational demands
- Train, coach, and evaluate production employees
- Identify and resolve production issues in a timely manner
- Coordinate with quality, maintenance, and warehouse teams
- Monitor productivity, efficiency, and waste reduction efforts
- Complete production reports and documentation accurately
- Ensure equipment is operating properly and report maintenance needs
Qualifications:
- Previous supervisory experience in food manufacturing or production required
- Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, and food safety regulations
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Problem-solving and organizational skills
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift as needed throughout the shift
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required
