JOB SPECIFICATION
Position : HR Coordinator
Job Type : Contractor
Project : RMT Centre
Location : Baghdad, Iraq
Est. Start Date: TBC
Duration of Task : Open ended
Pay Rate : Good package
Leave Rotation : 8 weeks on, 4 weeks off, subject to operational requirements.
Travel Pay :Contractors will be paid a full day rate on the first full day in theatre as well as
the day he departs from theatre.
Package : The Company will provide the Independent Contractor with appropriate
accommodation, insurance, flights and life support while on duty.
Flight Package :The Company will provide an economy class return ticket per rotation to the
project location from a hub airport as close as reasonably practicable to the
Contractor’s declared home address.
Hiring Criteria :
• Previous HR Admin experience in similar role is desirable (minimum of 3
years).
• Must be between 30 to 55 Years of Age
• Must have a proven track record in an HR and administration background.
• Must be self-motivated and possess a high level of administration skills.
• Must have good communication skills and the ability to develop relations
with Expat and Local National staff.
• Must be fluent in English (both reading and writing)
• Strong communications and IT skills, including use of all Microsoft
programmes; Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook.
Job Duties
• The HR Coordinator reports routinely to the Regional Operations
Manager as required. He will be directly responsible for all Iraq Projects
personnel and HR matters and will oversee all LN administrative staff.
MAIN FUNCTIONS/TASKS
• Control and supervision of all clerical and administrative services to
support Company Country Manager.
• Overseeing and Liaising with the LN administration staff for all LN HR
and Admin requirements as required.
• Co-ordinates Projects clerical and HR administrative services.
• Custodian of all LN PSC Cards.
• Responsible for ensuring the ORBAT for all Projects is manned IAW
with the PWS and contractual standards.• Maintenance, management, and processing of documentation,
including all Personnel Files and Personnel Database.
• Maintain all Baghdad Projects Iraqi National Personnel Files both
electronic and hard copy, ensuring that documentation in the files is
complete and accurate, and that all personnel have signed contracts.
• Maintenance of the Personnel Database (new employees,
terminations, resignations, change of personal details).
• Preparation of all required submission to the MOI both monthly and as
required.
• Preparation of Iraqi National contracts as well as distribution and
collection of contract documentation.
• Prepare correspondence such as employment
confirmation/termination letters, social security letters as directed.
• Process all documentation associated with In and Out Processing.
• Process all Social Insurance administration documents.
• Responsible for furnishing Iraq Finance Manager (IFM) with monthly
Start/Finish date for SI tax and EoSG return purposes.
• Assist IFM with distribution of EoSG & SI Payments for the LNs and
ensure pledges are signed and filed into respective individual P-files.
• Assist IFM with HQ LN Payroll payments as required.
• Other duties as may be reasonably expected by the Regional
Operations Manager.
