Nova Ukraine, a US-based non-profit organization dedicated to supporting Ukraine 💛 💙 , seeks a highly motivated and skilled professional for the Senior Lawyer position.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on working experience with nonprofit organizations ⚠ on tax matters as well as advising nonprofit boards of directors regarding ongoing compliance with both federal and state laws. Additionally, the candidate should be able to occasionally provide educational presentations on nonprofit compliance and the legal and ethical responsibilities of board members and the organization as a whole.
The main purpose of this position is to provide legal expertise and guidance to ensure the organization's compliance with relevant laws and regulations, as well as to support the organization's mission of supporting Ukraine through legal advocacy and representation.
