Established in August 2012 by a coalition of North African youths, NAIMUN is the largest student-run Model United Nations conference in Africa, with 4 sub-branches in Morocco, Tunisia, Algeria and Egypt. We train and encourage young people to address pressing global issues and engage them in resolving global problems. This 3 rd annual conference will welcome 400 national and international delegate

s from all around the globe. The conference will simulate the real United Nations, providing exposure to a variety of global issues and world views in a safe and friendly atmosphere. During the 3-day program, NAIMUN delegates will:

Gain understanding of Multilateral Diplomacy and International Relations,
Experience the working processes of the United Nations; and
Build upon their Communication and Negotiation skills. In addition, NAIMUN delegates will develop quick thinking and problem solving skills. Students and advisors will collaborate to propose resolutions which address issues such as: Regional Conflicts, Peacekeeping, Human Rights, Socio-economic Development, Child Abuse and Environmental Sustainability. Expert advisors will be on hand to guide and motivate delegates to develop their full leadership potential and progress on the path to their future careers.
