Looking to kick off January 2026 with an exciting new contract? Cyril has sniffed out a cracking opportunity for an experienced Azure Cloud Infrastructure Analyst to provide 3rd line support across Azure Cloud and Windows infrastructure environments.

💼 The Role
You’ll be supporting and managing Azure Cloud infrastructure, handling incidents and requests from the business, and owning day-to-day change management across cloud and infrastructure services. This is a hands-on role in a complex hybrid environment where your expertise will really make an impact.

🛠 Key Skills Needed:
✔ Azure Cloud Infrastructure
✔ Microsoft 365 / Office 365
✔ Windows Cloud Infrastructure & Servers
✔ Intune
✔ Active Directory
✔ Network & systems security

Our client in Cheltenham is seeking a skilled Application Support Engineer to join their on-site team, supporting a critical cross-domain service and ensuring stability, resilience, and continuous improvement across a complex technical estate.

📍 Location: Cheltenham (on-site min. 4 days per week)
💷 Rate: £500–£600 per day (Outside IR35)
🛡️ Clearance: Active DV required
📅 Start: ASAP
📆 Duration: 6 months

🌟 Your Responsibilities Include:
🔧 Building & deploying with Java, Maven, NPM
🧪 Running automated test suites with Maven & Cypress
🚀 Deploying via Terraform & Ansible across OpenShift, RHEL/CentOS & Docker
📊 Monitoring performance using Influx & Grafana
🛠️ Providing 2nd/3rd line support, incident management & root cause analysis
🔄 Automating tasks, patching systems & supporting multi-site data centres

🎁 You’ll Bring:
✔ Strong managed service environment experience
✔ Hands-on IaC skills (Terraform, Ansible)
✔ Solid application development background (Java or similar)
