For many years, are numerous exchanges between our countries Senegal and other Western countries through humanitarian aid (in the areas of health, education...), discovery internship and Exchange professional practices, cultural and artistic, stay see even exchange around the environmental education. These exchanges are sources of wealth of learning and professional and human experience for both p
arties who decide at any time to exchange all their differences and their similarities. Teaching Learning in Africa was founded following a great experience of observation of reception of trainees and volunteers foreigners in Africa with associations, institutions and Senegalese organizations. We have seen that it was not easy to achieve a professional, humanitarian or project personnel from one country to another, and that encountered students sometimes and unfortunately too often very bad experiences once on-site which prevented them finally to concentrate and carry out their project properly and dispassionately. The difficulties that we have seen are as follows:
• Lack of coordination in preliminary (stage, needs of the trainee, the body of home, and customs),
• Gap between the needs of the trainee and the reality of the place of internship,
• Gap between the needs of the host country and the representation of students,
• Difficulties of adaptation and knowledge of us and customs of the host country,
• Difficulties at the level of the daily (accommodation, food, transportation...)
• Lack or loss of link after the stay, difficulties to link and keep consistency to return to his country of origin. Following these experiments, it seemed important to create opportunity for people with a project in our country of Senegal to have:
Ø a main interlocutor to properly prepare their project / their internship before coming,.
Ø a coordinator of land in order to link partners needed for the smooth running of the project before even the arrival of the trainee,
Ø an attendant reliable and reassuring during the stay in order to harmonize the project into practice,
Ø a contact on the long-term keeping a link and allowing the continuity of the project once the intern returned to his country of origin. We offer you to organize, coordinate and accompany you as close to your needs in the development of your professional internship of your humanitarian project or your individualized project (artistic, cultural, environmental...).
