[Official Statement | Beware of Impersonation and Recruitment Scams]
RecruitFirst Singapore has recently been alerted to a case involving a job candidate who was contacted via WhatsApp by an individual claiming to be a consultant from our company “Allen.” The individual was using a Malaysia-registered phone number and had sent the candidate several suspicious links for registration purposes.
The candidate remained vigilant and did not click on any of the links. Instead, he visited our office in person today to verify the consultant’s identity. Following internal verification, we confirm that the individual and the contact method used are not authorized by RecruitFirst Singapore, and the incident appears to involve an attempt to impersonate our company and mislead job seekers.
RecruitFirst Singapore would like to issue the following official statement:
• We do not tolerate any form of impersonation or misuse of the RecruitFirst Singapore name;
• Members of the public should remain cautious if anyone claiming to represent our company asks them to click unfamiliar links, provide sensitive information, or complete suspicious registration steps;
• Job seekers and clients are strongly advised to verify job opportunities and consultant identities only through RecruitFirst Singapore’s official channels.
We would also like to remind the public to:
• Do not click on suspicious or unverified links;
• Do not disclose personal information, banking details, or OTPs to unverified individuals;
• Do not make any payment or complete any registration unless the source has been properly verified;
• If in doubt, please contact us directly through our official channels for verification.
