We are the research team from Alice Lee for Nursing Studies (ALCNS), National University of Singapore (NUS). We are conducting a research study on whether Internet-based Cognitive Behavioural Therapy will improve the psychological outcomes among perinatal women.
We are looking for pregnant women who are:
1. In their 24 to 28 gestational weeks
2. 21 years or older
3. Singaporeans
4. Able to speak and read English
5. Can access the Internet.
Pregnant women with severe psychiatric illnesses. medical and obstetric complications and fetal abnormality are excluded.
The total expected duration of your participation is around 1 hour and 45 minutes over 20 weeks. There will be 3 questionnaires to be completed. First set if questionnaires to be completed BEFORE commencing on the 6 sessions. Two sets of questionnaires to be done after the completion of 6 sessions.
Participants will need to complete 6 weekly sessions and each session takes about 10 minutes. 1 session is completed per week and participants will be required to complete each session before they proceed to the next.
A reimbursement of $50 will be given ONLY AFTER ALL the sessions and questionnaires are completed.
