On World Mental Health Day, we’re reminded of the importance of creating a workplace where people feel supported, heard, and empowered to prioritise their wellbeing ✨.

A big thank you to Vivian Wong, Niyang Sun, and Cody Su for sharing their personal perspectives and experiences. We also explored simple techniques such as 5 Senses Grounding and Box Breathing that can help us pause, reset, and manage everyday challenges.

For anyone exploring their next opportunity, this is a glimpse into the kind of culture we’re proud to cultivate. One where wellbeing is prioritised, conversations are encouraged, and people feel supported to bring their best selves to work every day 💚.

Sometimes, the most meaningful moments come from the simplest connections 💚.

Recently, Ambition Singapore team spent the morning with seniors in the community at TOUCHpoint@Yishun 436, supporting a programme focused on bringing people together through shared experiences, meaningful conversations, and social connection.

One highlight of the day was a reminiscence session on childhood games. From five stones and chapteh to marbles and pick-up sticks, familiar favourites sparked laughter, stories, and memories that transcended generations.

It was a privilege to spend time with the seniors, share a meal together, and contribute in a small way to building a more connected and inclusive community 🥰.

A big thank you to everyone who volunteered their time and energy to make the day memorable ✨.

AI can draft the copy.
It can generate the design.
But it cannot take responsibility for either.

Speaking on 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗔𝗺𝗯𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗔𝘀𝗶𝗮 Diana Boo, Chief Marketing Officer at Boost Holdings and an award-winning marketing leader shares her view on whether AI will replace marketing jobs. She explains why the answer depends on continuous learning and why human judgement remains central to the work.

Her point is straightforward. Leaders who give their teams tools and training are investing in their organisation’s resilience. Those who leave it to individuals take a risk.

“Human has to approve all of this output that AI delivers. So, the human still will have their job.”

As AI takes on more of the production work, judgement and sign-off become more valuable. For leaders, this changes which skills to hire for and develop.

More than 1,600 professionals came together at the SSIA Semiconductor Dinner 2026, making it one of Singapore’s largest semiconductor industry gatherings of the year.

Our Ambition Singapore team was proud to be part of the conversation, connecting with industry leaders and exploring how AI is shaping the future of work, talent, and innovation across the semiconductor sector 🫱🏼‍🫲🏽

A standout theme from the evening was investing in the next generation of semiconductor talent. As highlighted by Minister of State for Trade & Industry and Manpower, Foo Cexiang, building future talent pipelines will be key to the industry’s continued success.

And while AI continues to accelerate change, people remain the driving force behind innovation and growth.

The best hires are not always the ones with the perfect CV ✉️.

In today’s marketing landscape, technical expertise matters, but attitude can be the real differentiator.

In our recent episode of Leaders with Ambition Asia, Matthew Cooper, Managing Director of Ambition Malaysia, together with co-host Kim-Yie Lee, Director of Banking & Financial Services, speak with Diana Boo, Chief Marketing Officer at Boost Holdings and an award-winning marketing leader with more than 25 years of industry experience. Sharing her perspective on hiring and leadership, Diana explains why she prioritises attitude alongside capability when building high-performing teams.

Key takeaways:
💡 Attitude is difficult to teach, while skills can be developed.
💡 Modern marketers need both technical expertise and commercial acumen.
💡 Success comes from connecting brand, digital, CRM and analytics into a full-funnel strategy.

“You can’t train attitude. You can train skills.”

What matters most in your hiring decisions: capability, potential, or attitude?

Giving back is always more meaningful when we do it together. 💚🐾

Last weekend, the Ambition Malaysia team spent the day volunteering at Second Chance Animal Society (Second Chance Animal Society ) supporting their incredible work caring for rescued animals.

From cleaning kennels and shelter grounds to bathing dogs and helping keep the shelter in great condition, our volunteers rolled up their sleeves and got stuck in. Alongside our contribution to the shelter, we were delighted to support SCAS with essential resources while also dedicating our time and energy to help create a cleaner, safer environment for the animals in their care 🐶.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us, including family members who came along to support this meaningful cause. And thank you to the team at SCAS for the important work you do every day ✨.
