Junior Mechanical Technician (HVAC)

Job Description & Requirements

The Junior Technician is responsible for the diagnostic, testing as well as repair, production and overhaul of mechanical, electrical and electronic components of the chillers and other related systems in support of our overall chiller manufacturing process with fellow technicians.

Key Responsibilities:
· Manufacture industrial chillers in collaboration with other technicians encompassing sheet metal work, welding, assembly of refrigeration system, electrical wiring, temperature controller setup
· Evaluate final product’s overall performance, reliability and safety
· Diagnose, test as well as manufacture, repair and overhaul mechanical, electrical and electronic components of the chillers and other related systems in accordance to production BOM/ WO
· Delivery of chillers and components to end customers and setup on-site
· Generate 2D engineering & electrical drawings with Autocad software
· Perform all other duties as assigned and required.
Requirements:
· Candidate must possess at least a Diploma in Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical) or equivalent.
· At least 2 – 3 year(s) of working experience in HVAC/ Industrial Chiller fields
· Required Skill(s): 2D Autocad
· Required Spoken and Written Language(s): Basic English, Mandarin

Electrical & Mechanical Engineer (HVAC)

Roles & Responsibilities :
The executive engineer is responsible for the design, diagnostic, testing as well as repair and overhaul of mechanical, electrical and electronic components of the chillers and other related systems in support of our overall chiller manufacturing process. The engineer shall be required to independently plan, schedule, coordinate and optimize on-site and workshop activities and coordinate with the sales and marketing team where required.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, diagnose, test as well as repair and overhaul mechanical, electrical and electronic components of the chillers and other related systems
Spearhead digitization of existing chillers through selection, adoption and/or redesign of PCB & PLCs
Coordinate and liaise with internal production, sales & marketing team as well as external end customers, contractors and consultants on-site
Supervise and check suppliers’ works and/ or end customer requirements according to design drawings, specifications and regulation (local codes or relevant international design codes)
Check and ensure the equipment and material offered in compliance with the specification and drawings.
Generate engineering & electrical drawings with Autocad software
Perform all other duties as assigned and required.

Requirements:
Candidate must possess at least Diploma in Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical) or equivalent.
At least 2 -3 year(s) of working experience in Electrical/Mechanical related fields is required for this position
Required Skill(s): Autocad, Microsoft Office
Licensed Electrical Engineer OR Licensed Electrical Technician is a bonus
Required Spoken and Written Language(s): English, Mandarin
