The QC Instrument Supervisor (Aramco Approved) is responsible for overseeing the quality control activities related to instrumentation systems in compliance with Saudi Aramco standards and project requirements. This role involves supervising inspection and testing of instrumentation components, installations, and systems to ensure adherence to quality plans, specifications, and international standards such as ISA, IEC, and NEC. Key responsibilities include reviewing and approving Inspection Test Plans (ITPs), verifying instrument calibration, loop checking, and system functionality testing, and ensuring proper documentation of inspection and test results. The supervisor collaborates with construction, engineering, and commissioning teams to resolve quality issues and ensures compliance with Aramco's quality management systems (SAEP and SAES). They must oversee and guide QA/QC inspectors and ensure readiness for audits and client inspections.
Qualifications include a diploma or degree in Electrical/Electronics/Instrumentation Engineering, Saudi Aramco approval for QC instrumentation, and certifications such as ISA CAP, NICET, or relevant field experience. The candidate should have at least 7 years of experience in QA/QC instrumentation, including Aramco projects, with expertise in interpreting P&IDs, wiring diagrams, and instrumentation standards. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential, along with a commitment to health, safety, and environmental standards. This role requires site-based work, the ability to manage teams effectively, and readiness to work in challenging conditions, ensuring instrumentation systems meet the highest quality standards.
