📢 IMPORTANT UPDATE REGARDING THE ROMANIA WORK PERMIT & RECRUITMENT PROCESS 🇷🇴
Dear Our Reliable Agencies, Valued Agents, Employers, and Valuable Candidates,
We would like to sincerely thank all our partners, agencies, agents, employers, and candidates for your continued trust, patience, and understanding regarding the current delay in the Romania foreign worker recruitment and work permit process.
We understand that many candidates and recruitment partners are waiting for updates, documents, applications, and further steps. We also understand the importance of this process for everyone involved.
🔔 What is currently happening?
According to the official Work in Romania government platform, certain procedures have been temporarily deactivated following a decision of the Bucharest Court of Appeal concerning the suspension of the ex*****on of Order No. 1073/2026, which approved the list of shortage occupations for foreign workers.
As a result, the Work in Romania platform has temporarily deactivated certain workflows, including:
• Employer registration
• Employer authorization
• Submission of the single application for long-stay employment visa D/AM2
The Romanian General Inspectorate for Immigration (IGI) has also confirmed that this situation is related to the legal effects of the court decision and is not simply a technical problem with the platform.
IGI has stated that it is reviewing the situation regarding applications that have already been submitted and will provide information when there are changes to the applicable procedures.
🤝 What does this mean for our partners and candidates?
At this moment, we kindly ask everyone not to panic and not to lose hope.
This situation is connected with the current legal and administrative framework, and the relevant Romanian authorities are working within that framework.
We are continuously monitoring the official information and developments. VVEECO REC will not stop following the process.
For our agencies, agents, employers, and candidates who are already cooperating with us, we sincerely request your patience and understanding while the Romanian authorities clarify and update the procedure.
⏳ Please be patient
We kindly ask our valuable partners and candidates:
✅ Please do not worry because of the current delay.
✅ Please allow the Romanian authorities the necessary time to clarify the procedure.
✅ Please avoid relying on unofficial information or rumours circulating on social media.
✅ Please wait for official updates before making important decisions or additional commitments.
✅ Keep your documents and recruitment information ready so that the process can continue when the relevant procedures become available again.
We will continue to monitor the official Work in Romania platform and relevant Romanian authorities for updates.
🇷🇴 VVEECO REC – Ready to Continue
Once the relevant procedures are officially available and the process can move forward, VVEECO REC will be ready to attend to our partners, employers, agencies, agents, and candidates and continue the recruitment process according to the applicable Romanian procedures.
We truly appreciate your trust, cooperation, patience, and understanding during this temporary situation.
🙏 Thank you for standing with us and for your continued confidence in VVEECO REC.
We will keep you informed when there is reliable and official information to share.
With sincere regards,
