Two intense days. Many of the conversations. Countless new perspectives. Infoshare once again proved why it is considered one of the most important tech events in the CEE region! 🌎

Last week, we had the pleasure of joining Infoshare | Shape Tomorrow Today as part of the Silesian Booth together with the Silesian Voivodeship and Business inSilesia.

🍸 Starting with the Welcome Cocktail at Olivia Star overlooking Gdańsk, where, as an exclusive partner, the Winged IT team took part in the evening gathering alongside other partners, through inspiring talks and networking sessions.

One memorable moment was the presentation by Andrew A. Michta, who spoke about how Poland has grown over the past decades. We can clearly see that it's increasingly being recognized internationally for its innovation, technology, and talent.

And talent was everywhere at InfoShare! 👩‍💻

At our booth, conversations quickly turned into much more than standard networking:

✅ Students asked about career paths and how to enter the tech industry.
✅Developers discussed new opportunities, the importance of cybersecurity, and the future of IT.
✅Business representatives and stakeholders explored partnership opportunities and exchanged experiences from different markets.
✅International companies showed an interest in Poland as a business destination and one of the key technology hubs in Europe.

Of course, there was also space for some fun along the way.
Our LEGO airplane giveaway attracted far more attention than we expected, and anyone who still thinks LEGO is “just for kids” should have seen the interest in our booth. ✈️

We are incredibly grateful to have been part of this special edition of Infoshare and proud to represent Silesia alongside so many innovative companies and organizations!

Last week took us out of our usual surroundings (both geographically and professionally) as we participated in Iceland Innovation Week! 🌐

Together with our colleagues from Karacena and Soflab Technology, Winged IT’s team joined the Polish business mission led by Doitinpoland.com.

What made this experience particularly special was the opportunity to connect two growing tech ecosystems: Poland and Iceland.🌍
Each discussion centered around real business needs, while also highlighting how Polish tech teams can drive scalability, innovation, and security.

Our shared Polish booth quickly became a vibrant hub for exchanging ideas, insights, and opportunities.💡Crucial highlights of the week were our meetings with the Ambassador of Poland to Iceland, Aleksander Kropiwnicki, and Maciej Duszyński, Chargé d’Affaires a.i.

The discussion in the Polish embassy in Reykjavik and at our booth focused on the realities of the Icelandic market, talent gaps, and how international collaboration can effectively support local growth.👩‍💻

And then there’s Iceland itself. 🏞️
A place where innovation meets raw nature. Whether in meetings or while exploring volcanic craters, waterfalls, and geysers of the Golden Circle, the inspiration was constant (along with the famously unpredictable weather).

Poland is leading Europe’s IT charge, and the impact goes beyond the rankings and numbers. 👇

According to the "Future of IT Report 2026", with data from Eurostat, the World Bank Group, and UNESCO, Poland ranks 3rd out of 32 European and Balkan countries. On paper, it’s a strong result. But the story becomes much more interesting when you look closer.

The countries surrounding Poland in the TOP 5 (Estonia, Cyprus, Lithuania, Latvia) are all relatively small and highly policy-driven. Poland, by contrast, is the only large economy in the group, competing at a completely different scale, and still securing a top spot.

What makes Poland that way? 📊 The ranking evaluates countries across four pillars: IT Infrastructure, Economic Impact, Future Technologies, and, of course, Talent.

As many of you may have expected, Poland ranks 1st in the Talent category, combining scale and quality in a way smaller countries can’t replicate:

We don’t slow down when it comes to bringing Polish innovation to the forefront! 🚀 After recently taking part in Health Day, our team was excited to attend Forum INCYBER in France.

At the Polish National Booth, organized by the Polish Investment and Trade Agency (PAIH), we engaged in dozens of meetings with global companies, reconnecting with long-standing partners and establishing new relationships in cybersecurity.🛡️

With INCYBER and many more events on the calendar, we continue to expand our global partnerships while showcasing Polish expertise across many industries! 💪

We’ve just returned from an inspiring stay in Vienna, where our team took part in International Health Day 2026, a global gathering of experts shaping the future of healthcare and life sciences. 🌐

Although the event had a relatively small and intimate format, it delivered an impressive depth of knowledge, meaningful discussions, and high-quality interactions.

Yesterday we had the pleasure of attending the Pracuj.pl Festival in Warsaw – a closed gathering focused on the future of work and talent trends. 💼

It was especially valuable to meet and talk with professionals who actively shape the modern labor market. Many thanks for the discussions, particularly with Kinga Howaniec and Oscar Torres, who also joined us in the photo!

And even bigger thank you to Pracuj.pl for the special invitation, the great organization, and the inspiring presentations. 👏 The event created a fantastic space for meaningful exchange of perspectives on how the world of work continues to transform.

Events like this remind us that despite rapid technological change and new work models, one thing remains constant: people come first.👨‍💻 We are, after all, in the people business.
