The main central office of Fast Service is located 1 hour drive from the capital of Poland - in Sochaczew.

New employees come here for paperwork and for training before starting work. Experienced coordinators meet them, accompany them and help them at all stages of their work.

Our hostel is also located here. Here new employees temporarily live during the training period, and permanent employees who work in warehouses located near the city.

The population of the city of Sochaczew is more than 38 thousand people.
There are many cultural sites, historical sites, attractions and museums located here. Among them is the Railway Museum🚂 It is considered one of the largest museums of this type in Europe.

What conditions do our workers live in?

Our company develops a network of its own houses and apartments, manages its own fleet of cars and buses for a comfortable stay of our workers in Poland.

There are more than 200 apartments of various sizes in our database. We provide new workers with comfortable housing in the immediate vicinity of their place of work.

Hostels are equipped with everything you need (kitchen, bathroom/shower, toilet, laundry) designed to accommodate maximum 4 people, household appliances, furniture, dishes and bed linen are available.

The cost of living depends on the location and starts from $ 50 per month.

If a worker is not satisfied with living in our hostel for any reason (for example, the worker came to Poland with his family), then you can rent a house yourself and live separately. The cost of renting apartments in Poland strongly depends on the standard and location and can range from $ 300.

In addition, we provide transportation for our workers from the hostel to the place of work and back at the expense of the company.

This is one of the mandatory documents, without which life in Poland is almost impossible)

Pesel is a national identification number consisting of 11 digits. Mandatory for all residents, including foreigners, staying in Poland for more than 30 days.

Pesel is used quite widely, in almost all spheres of life. It may be asked:

✔in the hospital;

✔in the bank;

✔when making official documents;

✔upon admission to an educational institution;

✔when applying for a job, etc.

Getting Pesel is pretty simple. It is issued to the applicant through personal request (or through another person based on a notarized power of attorney) in any city administration (Urząd).

Our employees receive Pesel in the first days as soon as they arrive at the workplace. They, usually, prefer to issue a power of attorney to a representative of our company (the cost of a power of attorney is about 17 PLN = $ 4) and not waste time going to the city administration. Given the busy work schedule, it is not always easy to find time for this.

Labor relations between the Worker and the Employer in Fast Service.

📑 During the employment process, all our workers sign a civil contract called “Umowa zlecenie”. This is a document that is signed in written between a worker and an employer for a specific period of time.

The document specifies the duties of the worker (type and scope of work, place, time) and the duties of the employer (remuneration for work, payment date, etc.).

🔺 This type of labor relationship has its own peculiarities:

✔️ You can work an unlimited number of hours and earn more accordingly.

✔️ Unpaid leave. You only get paid for the hours you work. You can take a break from work for any number of days, but these days you will not be paid.

✔️ Unpaid sick leave. Because of working officially and paying all taxes according to Polish tax law, you are entitled to free medical care, but days of absence at work will not be paid. Those of our employees who do not want to lose income due to illness, purchase additional health insurance, which will allow them to stay at home on sick leave and continue to receive income. The cost of such insurance is 2.5% of the monthly salary. Such insurance can be issued immediately during employment process with us. (We will tell you more about this additional health insurance in the next post, do not miss it)!

Important clarification: before starting work, all new workers undergo a medical examination, which is confirmed by a medical certificate stating that there are no contraindications to work in this position. The cost of the medical examination is covered by the employer, as well as the worker's training in the field of occupational health and safety.

Dear friends, today we offer you to get acquainted with the seventh largest city in Poland and the historical capital of the West Pomeranian Voivodeship - the city of Szczecin.

It is located in the north-west of the country on the Oder River, 65 kilometers from the Baltic Sea coast, near the border with Germany. Szczecin is one of the most beautiful Polish cities, has a temperate maritime climate with relatively warm summers and cool winters.

⚓ Szczecin is divided into two parts: the left bank (Lewobrzeje) and the right bank (Prawobrzeje). There is a port between them.

🔸️ Szczecin has many shopping malls and supermarkets. The largest of them is the Kaskada shopping complex.

🔸️ Among the dishes of local cuisine are popular: paszteciki (pie with meat or cheese) and czerwony barszcz (red beet soup).

If you are planning to rent a house or flat in Poland, you should definitely know what kaucia is (Polish. - kaucja).

This is a deposit paid by the tenant, as compensation for possible damage during the renting period.

Kaucia is regulated by the Law on the Protection of Tenants' Rights (Ustawa o ochronie praw lokatorów) and must be returned at the end of the lease, in case of no reason to claim.

It means, this amount is not defined by the tenant or landlord, but is strictly regulated by the legislation of the Republic.

Caucia is not mandatory, but it is extremely rare to rent an accommodation without it. If the amount of the deposit is not specified in the contract, and the tenant demands to pay, then this is fraud. The amount of the deposit is indicated in the contract and is subject to refund.

Usually, the tenant pays a deposit before using the living space.

According to the law, the refund of the payment takes place within a month from the moment of the tenant's departure. Therefore, it is necessary to warn the owner about this in advance and preferably in writing.

Caucia in Poland is a common practice. Not to get into trouble, you need to know the legal nuances ⬇️

➖Enter into a lease agreement correctly. Indicating all the information: the size of the payment, the method of payment confirmation, the specifics of the refund, etc.

➖Take over and free an apartment according to the Аct. Describe and photograph all defects and damages.

➖Get from the tenant a receipt or other document confirming that you have made a deposit.

➖In order to get the deposite amount back in full, do not harm the property, treat it carefully.
