🚨 TANGO SCRAMBLE TURNS ALPHA!

Two Eurofighter Typhoons are refueling from an A400M over Northern Germany when an urgent call from Ground Controlled Interception changes the mission.

Unidentified aircraft. Low altitude. Very slow. No squawk.

The Typhoons immediately break away from the tanker and intercept the unknown contact.

Visual identification? A grey helicopter. But whose?

With the fast jets maintaining protective cover, two German Army helicopters are scrambled from Bückeburg Air Base to investigate and intervene.

What follows is a carefully coordinated operation involving six aircraft, GCI, Tower and a ground-based JTAC.

🎯 The result: A successful simulated Joint Air Defense Exercise.

And behind the entire operation?

The ADAMS Tactical Operation Center (ATOC), connecting different aircraft types, crews and control stations in one integrated tactical training environment.

The exercise features a combination of ADAMS Simulation Devices, including the Eurofighter Typhoon Demonstrator in UMTT (Viper Wing), MTT and LTT configurations, GCI and Tower Stations, plus immersive VR and MR technologies with Varjo.

A modern synthetic cockpit adapts to the program. HUSSAR Interface is VIPER WING’s platform-agnostic (!) software and HMI integration layer, designed to bring simulation and mission-relevant data into a configurable fifth-generation Large Area Display environment.
HUSSAR35 Interface variant brings this architecture to the F35U - unclassified F-35 cockpit representation - creating an integration-ready environment for training, experimentation and advanced human-machine interface development.
Key capabilities include:

• Platform-agnostic architecture - designed to integrate with major simulation hosts and customer environments rather than being tied to a single simulation platform.
• Configurable fifth-generation LAD environment - active portals can present tactical mapping, radar, navigation, weapons and other mission-relevant information within one coherent cockpit interface.
• Program-specific integration - layouts, portal content, data mappings and available functions can be developed around individual program requirements.
• Customer-controlled content and development - customer-developed applications and data can be presented directly inside the cockpit through the HUSSAR Interface External Portal Architecture. Once the required interface is defined, development can continue independently of VIPER WING, without access to HUSSAR Interface core code - allowing customers to retain control of their application logic and sensitive program content.
• XR and HMD integration - HUSSAR35 Interface can reproduce selected fifth-generation HMD functions in a leading Varjo headset, including target cueing, lock and simulated engagement, together with a representative synthetic see-through concept.
• Optional HUSSAR Interface CCA Extension - tasking, retasking and status monitoring of synthetic Collaborative Combat Aircraft, supporting representative human-machine teaming, including human-authorized engagement and rejoin workflows (also with a kneeboard-tablet).

A flexible cockpit integration environment that can evolve around the program, the simulation architecture and the customer’s own technology.

2nd Wargaming Conference in Wroclaw is a wrap!

HUSSAR Interface is a first-of-its-type, platform-agnostic software layer designed to present simulation data inside a customizable fifth-generation Large Area Display environment.

It can bring radar, weapons, tactical data and active portals from virtually any compatible software platform into a modern interface concept - open to further development around program-specific requirements.

A small summary of MSPO 2026 - the largest defence trade fair in Central and Eastern Europe and one of Europe’s leading defence exhibitions. Having VIPER WING's newest cockpits displayed as part of the Polish Air Force University (LAW - Lotnicza Akademia Wojskowa) showcase - Poland's foremost institution for the training of military aviation personnel - was an honour and a dream come true for our crew members, embraced by professional staff and enthusiastic cadets - future fast jet pilots!

We felt like a part of a legendary aviation family and we were amazed by the overwhelmingly warm reception from professionals - instructors, commanders, experienced pilots from different nations and major military contractors...

The fifth iteration of the Ultimate Line cockpits, powered by our platform-agnostic HUSSAR Interface and equipped with industry-leading XR headsets from Varjo, attracted crowds.

It has been an amazing week. One of those occasions reminding us why VIPER WING was born over 13 years ago. A real mission and a love letter to aviation.

We are honoured to announce that VIPER WING will be exhibiting as part of the prestigious Polish Air Force University (LAW) showcase at this year’s MSPO International Defence Industry Exhibition in Kielce, Poland. Based in Dęblin and built upon a long tradition of military aviation education, the University is Poland’s foremost institution for the training of military aviation personnel.
