💡 All Saints' Day (Wszystkich Świętych) is an annual national holiday in Poland celebrated on November 1st to honor the saints. It is also known as the Day of the Dead, as many people use this day to remember deceased family and friends.

👉 Compared to other cultural traditions like the Mexican Día de Mu***os or American Halloween, the Polish tradition of All Saints’ Day is a more somber and serious occasion. In Poland, this day is taken very seriously, and regardless of the weather, many people visit cemeteries several days in advance to clean the graves before the actual holiday.

📋 On November 1st, after visiting the cemetery, people typically gather with their families to share a meal and spend quality time together.

🇵🇱 Public Transport in Poland 🇵🇱

🚋 The public transportation system in Poland's larger cities is well developed. You can get around the city by bus, tram, or metro line (only available in Warsaw).

🎟️ Tickets can be purchased at kiosks, vending machines, dedicated apps, or sometimes on board the bus or tram. Remember to validate your ticket by inserting it into a metal box on the wall of a tram or bus; otherwise, you risk a fine.

🚌 It's important to note that each city in Poland recognizes its own tickets, so leftover tickets from Warsaw cannot be used in other cities like Łódź.
