Job Title: Project Engineer
Our client a well-reputed MNC in the Oil & Gas industry is looking forward to hire Project Engineer.
Job Description:
This is a site-based position primarily responsible for the supervision of all project-related site activities including but not limited to planning, management and ex*****on of Greenfield, Brownfield, Modification/retrofit and Miscellaneous projects. The position shall effectively work on multiple projects in a lean team structure with tight-deadlines and high pressure environments while requiring the ability of multi-tasking. In addition the position may also be responsible to manage assets, equipment and systems at the facility as per the business requirements.

Education & Technical Qualification:
Engineering Degree (Preferably Mechanical) from a reputable institute.
Professional Experience:
8 – 10 years’ experience of Oil & Gas / Petrochemical Industry in a project planning & ex*****on related environment with broad experience of projects, engineering and operations.
Key Accountabilities:
• Lead & supervise all greenfield and brownfield Projects at the site including but not limited to Infrastructure & Asset Development, Facility Upgradation, Process Optimizations and other Miscellaneous works within the approved scope, schedule and cost.
• Propose, initiate and implement projects aimed at improving operational/process efficiency, cost-efficiency, and sustainability at the site.
• Prepare concepts & feasibility development for the prospective projects;
• Develop plans, scope, timelines and budget estimates for the assigned projects for timely and successful closure of projects.
• Interface & coordinate with contractors and various cross-functional teams within the company while leading & executing the projects for safe and quality delivery of projects within the triple constraints.
• Lead the activities of Front End Engineering Design (FEED) & Detailed Engineering from the site to develop appropriate engineering deliverables for onwards implementation to support the delivery of project.
• Develop material/construction bid packages for soliciting material/contractor bids, and undertake technical review (including engineering drawings, specifications, work scopes, schedules, quality & inspection plans).
• Lead the activities of procurement and construction phases of the projects to ensure the delivery of the project as per the business requirements.
• Oversee the performance of the contractors during the construction & commissioning phases of the projects, and act as the focal point on behalf of the Company during construction, punch-listing, mechanical completion, and commissioning phase.
• Carry out inspections of the facility throughout the construction phase leading to the declaration of Mechanical Completion and take charge for the flawless delivery and startup of the facility / project.
• Undertake meetings with the contractors to resolve any technical dispute/conflict and generate Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) in case of non-compliance.
• Monitor and control any project changes arising during the ex*****on phase in relation to defined SOW with assessment of cost or schedule impact and advise the Head Project Delivery Unit accordingly.
• Report on the progress, challenges / risks and issues related to all projects occurring within Production & Development to the Head Project Delivery Unit.
• Enable the safe ex*****on of the projects by being responsible for the overall implementation and monitoring of HSE requirements throughout the project.
• Coordinate and conduct regular / specialized audits and inspections for improvement in the ex*****on and delivery of projects.
• Undertake organization of the project documentation in a centralized database;
• Contribute in activities aimed at troubleshooting of operational and maintenance issues; performance review of plant; modification/expansion and development tasks etc.
• Coordinate with various departments to execute maintenance tasks as per business requirements.
• Assist Head PDU in the implementation of Corporate and SD&HSE policies / procedures in their sphere of responsibilities.
• Perform all other duties, assigned in the capacity of Project Engineer, by Branch Managing Director, General Manager (Surface Operations), Field Manager, Head PDU or any of their designates.
