Mackinnon Mackenzie, which was a member of the P&O Group (UK), now owned by DP World, has been closely associated with shipping since 1863 in what is now Pakistan and is the oldest shipping company in the country. Mackinnons held the Agency for the renowned British-India Steam Navigation Co., until its takeover by P&O in 1973, for which Mackinnons continued to act as Agents in Pakistan until recen

tly. Mackinnons Pakistan now concentrate more on activities like ships' crew manning, manpower recruitment for overseas employment, insurance and general surveys, air travel agency and shipping agency work for other principals. Mackinnon was appointed in 1866. as Lloyd's Agent Karachi has followed representation by Mackinnons of many well known insurance companies throughout the world. In 1908 Mackinnons was appointed Agent of the Breamar incorporating the Salvage Association and continues to hold that Agency. Mackinnons Pakistan has been closely associated with East Africa as a result of Sir William Mackinnonโ€™s close connection with that area and for many year's Mackinnons Pakistan has represented the various governments of East Africa in the handling of their personnel who were recruited in this part of the world. That association continues in the form of payment of pensions to retired employees residing in Pakistan

Mackinnons is one of the founder members of the Karachi Chamber of Commerce now known as Overseas Investors Chamber of Commerce & Industry.

โœ… Minimum 24 months of proven sea service onboard LPG vessels
โœ… Experience on fully refrigerated LPG vessels preferred
โœ… All certificates and documents must be valid and up to date
โœ… Contract duration: 4 to 6 months
โœ… Wages: Market competitive and based on experience
