Job description and tasks:
Operating machinery and related activities
• Carrying out planned production according to work preparation and work passage:
- Operating and maintaining machines.
- Choosing the right clamping and cutting tools.
- Writing, storing and sending to desk machine programmes.
- Adjusting work course + noting setup + returning CNC programmes.
- Study subsequent work, discuss if not clear, review raw material, have tools prepared.

• checking the products already manufactured (possibly in collaboration with the quality manager):
- Completing the quality documents
- Notify quality manager and workshop management if desired quality cannot be maintained and halt the production process until a solution is found (meanwhile taking on subsequent work).
• Reporting problems to workshop management and reporting quality problems to the quality manager or workshop management.
• Make proposals to improve production, quality, working conditions and hygiene

Requirements :
-Bachelor/Master in Electro-Mechanical, mechanical or equal to experience.
-Willing to attend necessary safety training and obtain diplomas
-Motivated and committed to work
-You are able to read an assembly drawing or plan.
-Working both independently and in a team is not a problem.
-You are precise and keen to deliver the best quality.

We're hiring FAULT TECHICIAN bound to BELGIUM.

Responsibilities of the role:
• Repair of electrical, electronic, mechanical, to hydraulic and pneumatic issues, often involving advanced control methods like PLC controls, servo controls, hydraulic assemblies, gate monitoring systems, frequency controls, position sensors, and force sensors.
• PLC controls used: Siemens S7 and siemens S5.
• Responsible for the electromechanical repair, regular maintenance and preventive maintenance of all the production lines (1300 different production machines in total).
• Working on hot air press machines.
• Have a varied focus on the malfunctions and maintenance in production.
• Carry out both urgent repairs and planned maintenance work and inspections on the production lines.
• Implement regulations on the production lines with the aim of ensuring the quality of the product and obtaining optimum returns.
• Responsible for order, cleanliness and safety of the machines, working environment and tasks performed.
• Comply with safety instructions and use PPE correctly.
• Tasks come in from various departments or individuals through breakdown tickets or verbal requests.
• Regularly engage with live electrical components, handles static high voltage up to 100,000 V, and manages circuitry on boards with 10,000 V.

Background/experience:

• Proficiency in electricity and mechanics, with an added advantage of holding a diploma in Electromechanics.
• A versatile candidate with knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical and electrical maintenance, and PLC like Siemens
• Prior experience in a production setting.
• Preferably experience with compressed air machines.
• Fundamental grasp of MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Thrive in the diversity of technical roles.
• A team player with strong independent planning abilities.
• Prioritize safety above all else.
• A natural problem solver with practical hands-on expertise and a healthy dose of common sense.
• Meticulous and punctual.
