Post-Typhoon Price Monitoring Activity
Conducted on Saturday, October 4, 2025, the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) staff Ms. Flordel Marie Baylon, together with LGU-DTI focal person Ms. Steph Pastor, carried out a price monitoring of basic necessities in San Mateo, Isabela.
This activity was conducted in response to the aftermath of Typhoon Paulo, as part of the mandate of DTI and the LGU San Mateo under the leadership of Mayor Greg A. Pua, to ensure that the prices of basic goods remain fair, stable, and in accordance with the suggested retail price (SRP).
The purpose of the monitoring is to protect consumers from unjust pricing and to guarantee that essential commodities remain accessible and affordable to the public during calamities.
