Life abroad is never for the faint heart. You’ll be out of your comfort zone — out of the familiar, safe place you’re used to.

Dito, kakainin ka ng buhay ng lungkot mo; iiyak ka nalang bigla for no apparent reason. You’ll get frustrated a lot of times. Hindi mo maiiwasang i-compare ang buhay mo noon sa Pilipinas sa buhay mo ngayon dito abroad. You’ll even start giving up on yourself. And you’ll start questioning if you’ve really made the right decision.

Mag-aadjust ka — sa bagong buhay, bagong environment, bagong tao, at bagong trabaho.

Kung noon sa Pinas, boss ka at nasa taas ka na, dito magsisimula ka ulit sa baba. Kung pride ang paiiralin mo, walang mangyayari sa buhay mo. Hindi naman lahat sinuswerte at nakakahanap ng magandang trabaho na may malaking sweldo. Yung iba, nakapagtapos at nakapag trabaho sa magandang kumpanya sa Pilipinas pero pagdating dito papasukin ang kahit na anong trabaho — waiter, driver, receptionist, kitchen assistant, saleslady at iba pa.

Dito, hindi na mahalaga kung ano ang trabaho mo; ang importante ay naitataguyod mo ang pamilya mo sa bawat padala mo. ♥️
