Job Summary of CREDIT ADVISOR:
Responsible for assessment of the co-ops' credit operations to determine their needs in relation to the overall priorities, prepares recommendations and provides training and coaching to optimize and professionalize their credit management.
Job Qualifications:
• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree , Economics, Finance/Accountancy/Banking, Business Studies/Administration/Management, Commerce or equivalent.
• Required skill(s): basic accounting, credit and collection management, Presentation Skills.
• At least 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Preferably Supervisor / 5 Yrs & Up Experienced Employees specializing in Banking/Financial Services or equivalent.
• Willing to do field work to visit coops Nationwide; Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao
• Full-Time position(s) available.
Job Responsibilities:
• Conducts Credit assessment to determine the strenghts and weaknesses of the co-op
• Discusses with other advisors the credit concerns and help define the overall priority or projects to be done with the co-op
• Discusses with the Credit Head of the member-coop the details of the assessment and help them identify and understand their concerns and priorities
• Prepares recommendations and presents to co-op management and BOD's
• Facilitates the preparation of intervention plan with the Credit personnel of the coop
• Reviews the intervention plan to see sufficiency of the no. of days allocation
• Discusses with Technical Advisor/AM for integration and consolidation
• Initiates the development of pro-forma structures, templates, modules and manuals as needed by the co-ops
• Modifies or customizes the available templates to suit co-op situation and requirement
• Coaches the Credit personnel on identified area to be improved by the member-coop.(Loan Programs, Credit Initiation, Account Maintenance, Delinquency Management)
• Discusses with other advisors issues affecting both functions (i.e. product development, loan pricing, JD's, organizational structure, etc.)
• Presents updates to Top Management and GM/CEO every after intervention
• Presents updates to BOD's as necessary
• Provides feedback to Technical Advisors or Unit head on other matters affecting the coop interventions
• Prepares monthly trip reports and time sheets to Technical advisor and Unit head
