Our Program Pitch: 𝗬.𝗘.𝗦. 𝗪𝗲 𝗖𝗮𝗻! 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗘𝗺𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀 focuses on providing opportunities to the disadvantaged youth interested in hospitality and tourism careers through:

1. Accelerated Skills Training – Replace four-year degrees with intensive, modular certifications that quickly turn out-of-school youth into job-ready talent for Palawan’s hotels and resorts.
2. Digitalization – Give marginalized youth and existing students digital literacy and hospitality tech skills so they can compete for tech-driven roles.
3. Entrepreneurship – Help graduates start their own eco-tourism or artisanal micro-enterprises, boosting local livelihoods and strengthening the tourism supply chain.

𝗧𝗙𝗛 𝗯𝗮𝗻𝗸𝘀 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗻𝘁𝘂𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗶𝘅 𝗺𝗼𝗱𝗲𝗹, 𝘄𝗵𝗶𝗰𝗵 𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗹𝘂𝗱𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗼𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗼𝗻𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀:
• 𝙃𝙖𝙣𝙙𝙨-𝙊𝙣 𝘾𝙤𝙢𝙢𝙪𝙣𝙞𝙩𝙮 𝙋𝙧𝙤𝙟𝙚𝙘𝙩𝙨 – Youth volunteers (YVs) partner with civil society, government, and private sector to run hospitality and tourism initiatives through TFH training.
• 𝘾𝙧𝙤𝙨𝙨-𝘽𝙤𝙧𝙙𝙚𝙧 𝘾𝙤𝙡𝙡𝙖𝙗𝙤𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 – YVs from all 11 ASEAN countries will travel to Palawan to learn from the local community and share best practices.
• 𝙎𝙠𝙞𝙡𝙡 𝘿𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙡𝙤𝙥𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 – Volunteers and locals receive hands-on training, workshops, mentorship, site assessments, and leadership coaching to build project management skills.
• 𝙍𝙚𝙜𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙡 𝙉𝙚𝙩𝙬𝙤𝙧𝙠𝙞𝙣𝙜 – A powerful platform connecting young professionals, NGO leaders, and experts to collaborate on transformative social impact.
• 𝙀𝙣𝙫𝙞𝙧𝙤𝙣𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙖𝙡 𝙎𝙩𝙚𝙬𝙖𝙧𝙙𝙨𝙝𝙞𝙥 𝙏𝙝𝙧𝙤𝙪𝙜𝙝 𝙎𝙞𝙩𝙚 𝘼𝙨𝙨𝙚𝙨𝙨𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙨 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝘾𝙤𝙢𝙢𝙪𝙣𝙞𝙩𝙮 𝙀𝙣𝙜𝙖𝙜𝙚𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙨 – Through guided site assessments and community activities, volunteers learn how sustainable tourism supports ecosystems and local livelihoods.

The Provincial Government of Palawan, led by Governor Amy Roa Alvarez, together with the Palawan Tourism Council
under President Rix Rafols, officially unveiled the new Baragatan Festival logo.

After using the former logo for 25 years, Festival Director Ms. Kareeza Tullo shared that the refresh isn't about changing identity but it's about signaling a new era with a vibrant, forward-looking mark.

Exciting activities are lined up for this June, and we couldn't be more thrilled.

This Mother’s Day, our very own Business Development Consultant, Ms. Rita Sarmiento, in partnership with Libis Pickleball, championed an Open Play Pickleball event right here in Palawan.

The courts were open to biological moms, stepmoms, fur moms, and all mother figures who shape lives with quiet strength and endless love. No titles required—just a heart that cares. Because in hospitality and tourism, we believe that the best way to serve others is to first honor those who serve us every day.

This was our small way of giving back to the community we call home. And seeing moms laugh, run, d**k, and cheer together? That was the real win.

Today, we took the earliest flight from Puerto Princesa City—and it will be a full day of travel by two-ride planes and a van before we reach Sta. Ana, Cagayan.
