• Identify different types of stains and determine the appropriate treatment method based on fabric composition.
• Select and apply the correct spotting chemicals or agents according to the type of stain and fabric sensitivity.
• Conduct colorfastness tests before treatment to prevent color bleeding or fabric damage.
• Operate spotting equipment, including steam and vacuum functions, for effective stain treatment.
• Handle spotting chemicals and solvents safely and in accordance with proper safety procedures.
• Identify and flag garments that require specialized treatment or cannot be safely treated using standard methods.
• Maintain high attention to detail while preserving garment quality and integrity.
