TUPAD PAY OUT

300 informal sector workers received their Tulong Panghanapbuhay Sa Ating Disadvantaged/Displaced Workers (TUPAD) wages from the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) through the efforts of Congresswoman Maria Fe R. Abunda.

Present During the pay-out yesterday were DOLE-ESFO Provincial Head Fe Norma D. Valuis, Senior Labor and Employment Officer Salvacion Yepez, Tupad Coordinator Emily Abellar, Municipal Mayor Roy C. Ador, PESO Manager Ma Eugene A. Montallana and SB Michael L. Maestre - Congressional District Office Coordinator representing Congresswoman Maria Fe R. Abunda.

On this day in 2013, we experienced the onslaught of Super Typhoon Yolanda, the worst storm on record that left thousands of people dead.

May their lives be remembered not only as figures of casualty, but perhaps a mother to a child, a friend to a neighborhood, or someone so dear to many.

We offer our most fervent prayer for the souls of those who have gone, and comfort for those who have survived.
