Quietly observant and guided by actions rather than words, she believes in treating others with kindness, honesty, respect, and humilityโ€”while knowing the importance of healthy boundaries.

And a fun fact? Despite being part of a maritime company, Liza gets a little nervous riding boats because she can see whatโ€™s underneath the water! She also shares that she has never been on an airplane.

Back to normal operations! 'Yan ang inanunsyo ng Maritime Industry Authority (MARINA) ukol sa processing ng Seafarer's Identity Document (SID) at Seafarer's Record Book (SRB) sa MARINA Central Office sa Manila.

Ayon kay MARINA Administrator Sonia Malaluan, maaari nang makuha ng mga aplikante ang kanilang mga aktuwal na SID at SRB sa loob lamang ng dalawa hanggang tatlong oras, regular man o expedited ang kanilang aplikasyon.

โ€œMalugod nating ipinapaalam na dito sa Central Office ay back to normal na ang processing natin ng SID/SRB. In two to three hours, maaari nang makuha ang ating mga dokumento,โ€ ani Malaluan.

Hinimok naman ng pamunuan ng MARINA ang mga marino na sumunod sa kanilang nakatakdang schedule at tiyaking kumpleto ang mga kinakailangang dokumento upang maiwasan ang pabalik-balik na pagpunta sa MARINA.

โ€œHumihingi kami ng paumanhin dahil nagkaroon po ng problema nitong mga nakaraang linggo. Pero ngayong balik na sa normal ang ating proseso, lahat po kayo ay mabibigyan natin ng serbisyo. Salamat po sa pagbibigay pasensya,"

Samantala, personal na naranasan ng isang seafarer ang mas mabilis na proseso sa Central Office.

Ayon kay Bernie Serrano, isang seafarer, wala pang isang oras ay nakuha na niya ang kanyang SRB.

โ€œOkay naman po, Mabilis, nakuha agadโ€”saglit lang po. Mga 7:30 a.m. ako natapos sa mga steps, tapos nakuha ko mga 8:00 a.m. pa lang. Maganda, mabilis, nakuha agad yung Seamanโ€™s Book ko.โ€

Samantala, dagdag ni Malaluan, inaasahang magbubukas ngayong linggo ang SID/SRB processing centers sa DMW, at Trium, Pasay.

Patuloy din ang testing para sa processing sa Regional Offices ng mga dokumento, na posibleng back-to-normal na operasyon sa susunod na linggo.

Magandang balita ulit para sa ating mga marino!

Mahigit 13,000 appointment slots para sa pagproseso ng Seafarer's Identity Document (SID) at Seafarer's Record Book (SRB) ang available pa sa iba't ibang MARINA processing centers sa buong bansa para sa mga buwan ng Agosto at Setyembre.

Kasabay nito, nanawagan ang Maritime Industry Authority (MARINA) sa mga seafarer na agad na i-reschedule ang kanilang appointment kung hindi ito madadaluhan, upang mabigyan ng pagkakataon ang iba pang marino na magamit ang mga bakanteng schedule.

Ayon sa MARINA, tinatayang 500 aplikante sa buong bansa ang hindi sumisipot sa kanilang nakatakdang appointment bawat linggo, dahilan upang maraming appointment slots ang nasasayang.

Sa kasalukuyan, may 3,791 appointment slots pang available para sa Agosto at 9,392 slots naman para sa Setyembre para sa SID at SRB processing sa buong bansa.

"We appeal to our seafarers to help us maximize every appointment slot. Kung hindi po kayo makakadalo, maaari pong i-reschedule agad ang inyong appointment para magamit ito ng iba nating seafarers," ani MARINA Administrator Sonia B. Malaluan.

Hinihikayat din ng MARINA ang mga seafarer na samantalahin ang mga available na appointment slots at gamitin ang online appointment system sa pamamagitan ng eGovPH App, kung saan maaari silang pumili ng petsa at processing center na pinakaangkop sa kanilang iskedyul.

Ayon sa ahensya, ang maagap na pagre-reschedule ng mga appointment na hindi madadaluhan ay makatutulong upang mapabilis ang serbisyo, mabawasan ang mga nasasayang na appointment slots, at mas maraming seafarer ang mapaglingkuran.
