We strongly advise all OFWs to:
🏠 Remain indoors whenever possible: Minimize outdoor activities and non-essential travel to reduce potential risks.
🛡️ Locate safe areas: Get to know the closest official shelters, safe rooms, or designated protected zones near your residence or workplace.
🧠 Follow reliable updates: Regularly check communications from the Philippine Embassy or Consulate in your host country, the Department of Migrant Workers (DMW), the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA), and trusted local government sources for the latest guidance.
☎️ Maintain communication: Keep your phones fully charged, have backup power options if available, and connect frequently with your loved ones back home as well as your agency or recruitment contacts.
