Qualifications of a Director of Nursing:
Responsibilities:
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to manage large teams and collaborate effectively across departments. .
Excellent clinical knowledge and the ability to assess, monitor, and improve patient care practices.
Proficiency in healthcare management software, electronic health records (EHR), and other tools used in clinical settings.
Ability to make strategic decisions and drive change in a fast-paced and complex environment.
Qualifications:
At least 5-10 years of nursing experience, with a significant portion in a leadership or management role (e.g., Nurse Manager, Nurse Supervisor, Clinical Coordinator).
Registered Nurse (RN) License is mandatory.
A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) / Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Master’s in Healthcare Administration (MHA) for senior roles.
Experience in diverse healthcare settings, such as hospitals, long-term care facilities, or outpatient clinics, is highly valued. .
Certified Nurse Manager and Leader (CNML) or Certified in Executive Nursing Practice (CENP) are optional certifications that can enhance a DON's qualifications.
Advanced certifications in specialized areas of nursing practice (e.g., critical care, pediatrics, geriatrics) may also be beneficial depending on the setting.
2. Nurse Educator
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement educational programs for nursing staff Private Nursing Services -PNS- Standard for Hamad Medical Corporation HMC ).
Conduct training sessions and workshops.
Assess and evaluate the learning needs of nursing staff.
Provide mentorship and support to nursing staff.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Nursing.
Minimum of 3 years of clinical nursing experience .
Minimum of 2 years Previous experience in a teaching or educational role for staff nurses .
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Verified all the documents through Dataflow .

3. Nurse Supervisor
Responsibilities:
Oversee the daily operations of the nursing department.
Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
Manage and support nursing staff.
Coordinate patient care activities.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
Minimum of 5 years of clinical nursing experience.
Previous supervisory experience.
Strong leadership and organizational skills
Verified all the documents through Dataflow .
Passed the Prometric exam .
