We are looking for a qualified and experienced Chemist to join a manufacturing team in Qatar.
π¬ Key Responsibilities
β’ Formulate and develop liquid, powder, and specialty detergent products
β’ Conduct laboratory testing for performance, stability, and safety
β’ Improve existing formulations to enhance quality, cost efficiency, and performance
β’ Ensure compliance with regulatory and safety standards
β’ Perform quality control testing on raw materials and finished products
β’ Prepare technical documentation, reports, and product specifications
β’ Coordinate with production, procurement, and quality teams
β’ Support scale-up from laboratory to production level
π Qualifications & Requirements
β’ Bachelorβs degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field
β’ Proven experience in detergent or cleaning product formulation
β’ Knowledge of surfactants, enzymes, builders, fragrances, and preservatives
β’ Familiarity with laboratory testing and quality control procedures
β’ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
β’ Able to work independently and as part of a team
β’ Good communication and documentation skills
β Preferred Qualifications
β’ Experience in FMCG or manufacturing environment
β’ Knowledge of local or international chemical regulations
β’ Experience in cost optimization and reformulation
