PH's unemployment rate was at 3.1% in June 2024, lower than the reported 4.5% in June 2023. The employment rate also increased to 96.9 percent (from 95.5 percent in June 2023). It is the highest employment rate same as December 2023 since 2005.
Meanwhile, the industries of construction, wholesale and retail; repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles, accommodation and food service activities, manufacturing, and Transportation and storage reported the highest annual increases in the number of employed persons.

Recruitment is no rocket science. Or is it? I’m not exactly sure why people keep making this comparison. Although my instinctive reaction would be to refute this statement, I am definitely triggered to keep an open mind and dive in deeper.

We are urgently in need of a Baker and Service Crew to be assigned in our stores in Mactan Lapu-Lapu.

GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Baker:
-At least one year experience as a baker in any commercial retail bakery.
-Relevant experience in basic baking process, and attention to details to ensure that all products bake in the store is within the standards set by the company.
-Knowledgeable in production planning or forecasting needed by the store on a daily basis to ensure the right quantity is available at the right time during its operations to be able to manage pullout.
-Willing to undergo basic baking training from time to time.
-Honest and team player and has a positive attitude towards work and team player.

Service Crew:
-One year relevant experience as a service crew in the bakery industry.
-Aggressive selling abilities and good customer service relations.
-Knowledgeable in receiving orders, placing store re-ordering, daily inventory monitoring and conducting actual month end inventory.
-Willing to be trained and can easily adapt to changing environment.
-Honest and team player and has a positive attitude towards work and team player.

This requirement will be stationed inside the supermarket and expected to have an experience in the operational working schedule and environment.
