🌊 Maritime Trivia

Why does the ocean appear blue? 💙
The ocean looks blue because water absorbs most colors of sunlight and reflects blue light back to our eyes. While the sky can make it look even bluer, water itself is the main reason for its blue color.

💡 Did You Know?
The ocean's color can also change:
💙 Deep Blue – Deep, clear water
💚 Green – More algae or tiny sea plants
🟤 Brown – Mud or sediment near the shore
🩵 Turquoise – Shallow water with white sandy bottoms

Today, EMC joins the Filipino people in honoring the life and legacy of Senator Benigno "Ninoy" Aquino Jr.
