DIESEL MECHANIC

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Must have at least 3–5 years of relevant work experience as a Diesel Mechanic,
Heavy Equipment Mechanic, or Heavy Vehicle Mechanic
- Must be a graduate of Automotive Technology, Diesel Mechanics, Heavy Equipment Mechanics, or a related technical course
- Must hold a TESDA National Certificate (NC II/NC III) in Automotive Servicing or a related qualification
- Must have experience in diesel engine repair, maintenance, troubleshooting, and overhaul
- Must be knowledgeable in fuel injection systems, cooling systems, lubrication systems, braking systems, and electrical systems
- Must have experience in diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults using appropriate tools and diagnostic equipment
- Must be able to perform preventive maintenance, servicing, and repairs on heavy vehicles and diesel-powered equipment
- Must be able to read and understand technical manuals, service manuals, and mechanical drawings
- Must be familiar with automotive diagnostic tools and workshop equipment
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team
- Must be physically fit and willing to work in a workshop or outdoor environment
- Good English communication skills are an advantage
