Cable Jointers x 20

Must have High Voltage and Electrical experience - High voltage switching
Maintaining, jointing and terminating PVC, XLPE and Paper-Lead 400 Volt, 11,000 Volt and 33,000 Volt underground cables


Linesman x 15

Must have overhead powerline experience
Live lines
Identifying electrical systems in preparation for work.
Climbing and working on electricity network structure.
Applying earths to and remove earths from overhead electricity supply line conductors.
Joining electricity network overhead conductors.
Replacing load bearing pole hardware in electrical networks up to 33 kV.
Installing and replacing electricity network pole structures and overhead conductors.
Removing electricity network overhead pole line installations up to 110 kV.
Excavating and reinstating underground cable installation sites.


Power System Technicians x10

Transmission and distribution experience
As an Electrical Fitter, you will carry out commissioning and maintenance on a range of HV assets, including large transformers and secondary systems. This could see you building a transformer in the workshop one day and out on site carrying out fault finding the next.


Electrical Trade Assistants for Communications x 30 workers

CAT VI cable pulling, terminating, and testing
Fibre cable pulling, terminating, and testing
Data cable pulling, terminating, and testing
Security device installation – ACID (Access Control and Intruder Detection)
PAVA speaker installation
Data point installation


Electrical Trade Assistants for Electrical Requirements x 30 workers

LV Cable pulling utilising winches and pushers
LV subcircuit cable pulling – by hand
Earth cable installation and terminating
Lighting Control cable pulling and termination
Device fit-off – lights, power points, switches, PIRs, sensors
