MONTHLY CADETS’ FAMILIARIZATION | SAFETY FIRST

Risk assessment and hazard identification are not just procedures—they are survival skills at sea.

Epsilon CDP successfully conducted its Monthly Cadets’ Familiarization, focusing on Risk Assessment and Identifying Hazards Onboard, as part of preparing cadets for their future roles onboard vessels.

Understanding hazards before they turn into incidents—and knowing how to determine and control risk—are essential competencies every seafarer must carry from day one. This session helped cadets develop the right safety mindset early in their careers.

The activity was conducted by Capt. Steven Arillo, our invited speaker, who generously shared his professional insights, real onboard experiences, and best practices in maritime safety. His practical approach gave cadets a clearer picture of how risk awareness directly impacts life, operations, and efficiency at sea.

At Epsilon, we believe that safe seafarers are competent seafarers—and competence starts with proper education and familiarization.

Preparing today's cadets for tomorrow's challenges at sea.

Epsilon Year-End Christmas Celebration 2025
Jeans & Blazer Night | November 28, 2025 | Midas Hotel and Casino

Last November 28, 2025, Epsilon held its year-end Christmas celebration with a stylish Jeans and Blazer theme at Midas Hotel and Casino. Employees and staff from Epsilon, KJCM, Veritas Training, and Galinos Clinic gathered as one—each coming together for a common goal, inspired by the vision shared by Epsilon Chairman Mr. Gregory C. Galanakis.

It was a night of unity, camaraderie, and appreciation as everyone celebrated another meaningful year of hard work and shared purpose. Here's to stronger partnerships and an even brighter 2026!

Epsilon has just attended and witnessed the MAAP Graduation today, where 11 of our cadets from the different principals officially completed their journey, 5 from Deck and 6 from Engine. Three of them finished with awards and flying colors, a true reflection of their dedication and excellence.

They now move toward the next milestone: securing their COC and stepping closer to becoming future officers at sea.These graduates now stand ready to serve as future officers of the global fleet.
