Because betrayal hurts differently
when it comes from someone you helped.

Someone you trained.
Someone you believed in.

Someone you
trusted with opportunities.

I've learned that betrayal
creates two temptations.

The first is anger.
The second is control.

The second one is
usually more dangerous.

Because after betrayal,
many leaders start building walls.

Micromanagement increases.
Decisions become centralized.
Trust becomes harder to give.

Every new person pays for what the
previous person did.

I understand that reaction.

I've felt it too.

Pero may realization
akong nakita over time.

One person's betrayal should not become
everyone's punishment.

A business cannot
grow without trust.

Teams cannot develop
ownership without trust.

Leaders cannot multiply
if trust disappears.

The goal is not blind trust.
The goal is wiser trust.

Stronger systems.

Clearer accountability.
Better hiring.
Better monitoring.

Better leadership.

Trust is not the
absence of verification.

Trust works best
when standards are visible.

I've learned to trust people
faster than before.

I've also learned to act faster
when patterns become obvious.

Repeated dishonesty.
Repeated drama.
Repeated misalignment.

Those things eventually
reveal themselves.

Betrayal taught me
something uncomfortable.

Fear can disguise
itself as leadership.

Control can disguise
itself as standards.

And if we're not careful,
the wound creates a bigger problem
than the betrayal itself.

The wrong employee
can hurt a company.

A leader who stops trusting anyone
can hurt it even more.

Magbasa ang mga feeling inapi.

“Nagbigay ka nga,
kulang naman.”

Linyahan ng mga ungrateful employee.

Masakit marinig yan,
lalo na kapag alam mong
binigay mo naman talaga yung best mo.

May times dati
na halos akuin ko lahat
para lang gumaan buhay ng team.

Extra understanding.
Extra chances.
Extra support.

Akala ko dati,
kapag mas mabait ka,
mas maaappreciate ka ng tao.

Pero hindi pala ganun lagi.

Na-realize ko,
kahit gaano karami ibigay mo,

may mga tao talagang
nakafocus sa wala,
hindi sa meron.

At delikado yun sa owner.

Kasi kapag hindi mo na-control,
mapapagod ka kakaplease.

Minsan,
hindi na healthy yung generosity.

Nagiging guilt-based leadership na.

Yung tipong
takot ka mag set ng boundaries

kasi ayaw mong
masabihang madamot.

Pero habang tumatagal,
mas naiintindihan ko

na appreciation cannot be forced.

At hindi responsibility ng leader
na punuin lahat ng emotional lack ng ibang tao.

Business became lighter for me
nung tinanggap ko

na may mga tao talagang
kahit ayusin mo trato,

may reklamo pa rin.

Hindi ibig sabihin nun
masama ka nang leader.

Hindi rin ibig sabihin
kulang ka agad.

Sometimes,
misaligned lang talaga

yung expectations,
values,
at mindset.

Kaya importante rin
na marunong ka magbigay

nang hindi inuubos sarili mo.

Kasi kapag empty na yung leader,
damay buong business.
