WE'RE HIRING: SAFETY OFFICER III
π JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
β
Conduct safety talks, risk assessments, inspections, and implement preventive/corrective measures.
β
Issue work permits and ensure employees and contractors comply with OSH requirements.
β
Monitor PPE, emergency equipment, tools, and workplace operations to ensure safety.
β
Conduct and coordinate safety training and enforce disciplinary actions for violations.
β
Maintain safety documents, accident records, and reports; serve as Secretary and member of the Health and Safety Committee.
β
Investigate accidents, conduct safety inspections, and coordinate corrective actions with management and workers.
β
Coordinate with government agencies during safety inspections and accident investigations, including submission of required OSH reports.
β
Oversee the OSH program and issue Work Stoppage Orders (WSO) when necessary in accordance with OSH standards.
π― QUALIFICATIONS
β
At least three (3) years of relevant OSH work experience in manufacturing
β
Knowledge & Competency Requirements
β
Strong knowledge of OSH legal requirements under RA 11058 and DO 252-25
β
Familiarity with ISO 45001 Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems
β
Familiarity with reportorial requirements (submission of DOLE-mandated reports)
β
Competence in drill ex*****on (fire, earthquake, evacuation, emergency response drills)
β
Ability to design and implement a comprehensive safety program
β
Skills in incident investigation and root cause analysis
β
Capacity to initiate and sustain safety initiatives across all departments
π TRAINING REQUIREMENTS
βοΈ Basic Occupational Safety and Health (BOSH) β 40 hours
βοΈ Construction Occupational Safety and Health (COSH)
βοΈ Loss Control Management (LCM)
βοΈ Advanced OSH Training β minimum 48 hours relevant to high-risk industries

βοΈ Can work under pressure with initiative and sound judgment
βοΈ Demonstrates leadership in coordinating safety activities across multiple shifts
βοΈ Amenable to Shifting Schedule (Tri-Shift)
βοΈ Workdays: Monday to Saturday
