Scheduled power interruption affecting Albay Province on Saturday, 31 January 2026

Time: 6:30AM to 6:30PM
Affected: ALECO (Albay Electric Cooperative, Inc.) (Ligao and Polangui Substations only)

Reasons:
1. preventive and corrective maintenance along Daraga-Ligao 69 kV line
2. general maintenance and testing of high voltage equipment

Specific areas are determined by the electric cooperative. NGCP will exert all efforts to restore power earlier or as scheduled.

The overall rate inclusive of VAT increased by 2.1607 for residential and low-voltage customers, while the rate for high-voltage customers increased by 1.9848 compared to last month. The rise was mainly due to the continued increase in prices in the Wholesale Electricity Spot Market (WESM), from which 100% of our power requirement was sourced.
