Earlier today was the Oath-taking Ceremony of the newly elected officers of the South Cotabato Tourism Council and the Association of Tourism Officers of the Philippines - South Cotabato Chapter which was administered by Gov. Reynaldo Tamayo, Jr. of the Provincial Government of South Cotabato. The said ceremony was also graced by the presence of Department of Tourism - Soccsksargen Office Regional Director, Ms. Nelia “King” Arina, and other government officials. Punta Isla Lake Resort was elected as Vice President while our forthcoming sister company in the City of Koronadal was elected as Director for Hotels.

After the ceremony, the newly elected officers then proceeded to a courtesy call to the Governor and signing of the South Cotabato Tourism Council Executive Order followed by an Inauguration Meeting and Celebratory Buffet.

The Solid View Hospitality Group is excited to work hand in hand with the Department of Tourism Region XII and fellow officers from establishments across South Cotabato to carry on the tradition of hospitality excellence in the region.

Mount Matutum, located in Tupi, South Cotabato, is an active stratovolcano and the highest point in the province of South Cotabato, with an elevation of 7,500 feet above sea level. The volcano shows a well-preserved cone shape with a summit crater that is 320 m wide and 120 m deep. The mountain is a popular hiking destination in South Cotabato.
