The Public Employment Service Office (PESO) of the City of Ilagan has once again brought pride and honor to the city as it was awarded Regional Winner in the 2024 Search for Best PESO โ Component/Independent City Category during the awarding ceremony held on July 10, 2025, in Solano, Nueva Vizcaya.
This significant recognition marks the fifth consecutive time that the PESO City of Ilagan has been honored as the Best PESO in the region, a reflection of its consistent excellence in employment facilitation, community engagement, and innovative labor programs.
The success of PESO Ilagan would not have been possible without the unwavering support and guidance of Hon. Mayor Jose Marie L. Diaz, City Mayor of Ilagan, and Vice Mayor Jay Eveson C. Diaz. Their strong leadership and commitment to employment development and inclusive public service have provided the foundation for the officeโs continued progress and impact.
The award underscores the dedication and tireless efforts of the PESO City of Ilagan team, who have consistently delivered impactful employment programs such as job fairs, livelihood training, youth employment initiatives, and special services for marginalized sectors. Their success is rooted in strong collaboration with national agencies, local partners, and the community, contributing significantly to the cityโs employment growth and development.
