Job Title: Media Buying Operations & Executive Assistant — Remote, Philippines | $6–$7/hr
About Simple Media Buying
Simple Media Buying is a U.S.-based media buying company that helps brands navigate the complicated world of paid media. We plan, negotiate, and execute campaigns across a wide range of channels — including OOH/DOOH, TV/CTV, radio/audio, digital, publishers, and other traditional and emerging media opportunities.
Our job is to make media buying simple for our clients. We’re looking for someone who can help us do the same behind the scenes.
About the Role
We’re looking for a sharp, highly organized Media Buying Operations & Executive Assistant based in the Philippines.
This is not a typical virtual assistant position, and it’s not a pure media buyer role.
We need someone who combines the organization and follow-through of an excellent Executive Assistant with the media literacy of someone who understands how advertising campaigns actually get bought and executed.
You’ll work directly with the founder to keep campaigns moving — coordinating with media vendors, maintaining plans and trackers, organizing proposals, chasing assets and deliverables, checking campaign details, collecting proof-of-performance, and making sure nothing falls through the cracks.
What You’ll Do
* Maintain media plans, campaign trackers, budgets, timelines, and status reports
* Communicate with media vendors to request information and follow up on proposals, availability, pricing, and deliverables
* Organize media proposals and compare inventory, markets, placements, impressions, CPMs, and costs
* Coordinate creative specifications, assets, deadlines, and trafficking requirements
* Track campaign launches and confirm placements are running as planned
* Collect photos, screenshots, airchecks, proof-of-performance, and delivery reports
* Organize vendor invoices and campaign documentation
* Help prepare client updates, campaign recaps, and reporting
* Research media opportunities, vendors, markets, and inventory
* Maintain organized spreadsheets, files, contact lists, and internal processes
* Handle scheduling, reminders, follow-ups, and other Executive Assistant responsibilities
* Proactively flag missing information, approaching deadlines, discrepancies, and anything that needs attention
What We’re Looking For
You should be comfortable with advertising terminology and concepts such as CPM, impressions, reach, frequency, media budgets, placements, flight dates, pacing, and added value.
Previous experience with a media agency, media buyer, advertising agency, OOH company, TV/radio company, publisher, or similar advertising business is strongly preferred.
Experience with OOH/DOOH, TV/CTV, radio/audio, programmatic, publishers/newsletters, or other paid media channels is a major advantage.
You do not need to be an expert media strategist. You do need to understand media well enough to follow a plan, communicate intelligently with vendors, catch mistakes, and keep campaigns moving.
Above all, we’re looking for someone who is extremely organized, proactive, resourceful, comfortable with numbers, excellent with spreadsheets, and relentless about follow-through.
If a vendor hasn’t responded, you follow up.
If an asset is missing, you notice.
If a deadline is approaching, you flag it.
If numbers don’t match, you investigate.
Compensation: Approximately $6–$7 USD/hour, depending on experience
Location: Remote — Philippines
The ideal candidate is organized like an Executive Assistant, understands media like an agency operator, and treats every campaign detail like it matters.
