Brief Description of the Role

The Product Specialist is in charge of research and development and all possible tasks that will ensure excellent product delivery, technical audit, answer customer questions and concerns regarding product technicalities.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Conduct experiments and /or inspect items received from suppliers , returned from customers and damaged to support sales and operations’ requests for replacement.
Cascade product information to operations personnel.
Address internal and external customer issues and concerns relative to product technicalities.
Perform product demonstrations for customers, staff, and other stakeholders.
Manage information to update products, business flow, sales process and market dynamic.
Update and keep complete documentations for all product-related activities.
Monitor and maintain products’ quality and check for discrepancies.
Establish guidelines for new product development.
Submit reports from experiments and inspections.
Audit PMT Ecofoam/Waterproofing projects.
Coordinate with engineering and manufacturing teams and supply chain teams in product development activities.
Visit Clients who request for process improvement and troubleshooting.
Conduct product sample testing provided by all suppliers and recommend for approval.
Perform all other related tasks as assigned by superior.

QUALIFICATIONS:

A graduate of BS Chemical Technology, BS Chemistry or BS Industrial Engineering
Desire to continue to develop skills and knowledge.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Outstanding interpersonal skills and a positive attitude.
