📢 WE'RE HIRING SCAFFOLDING DESIGN & DRAFTER! 📢

Responsibilities:
- Develop scaffolding plans, elevations, sections, layouts, and technical drawings based on project requirements.
- Create and update scaffolding models and drawings using iScaf, AutoCAD, or comparable design applications.
- Review project information, architectural plans, structural drawings, and construction documents to identify scaffolding requirements.
- Prepare material quantities, take-offs, cost estimates, and project quotations.
- Coordinate with clients and internal project teams to confirm measurements, scope, specifications, and other technical details.
- Assist in selecting appropriate scaffolding configurations based on site conditions and project requirements.
- Check drawings, quantities, and estimates for accuracy before submission.
- Organize and maintain project drawings, estimates, quotation files, and other technical documentation.
- Ensure project estimates and design outputs are completed accurately and within agreed timelines.
- Work in accordance with applicable Australian standards, project specifications, and safety requirements.

Skills & Qualifications
- Degree or relevant qualification in Architecture, Civil/Structural Engineering, Drafting, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in scaffolding design, scaffolding estimating, drafting, construction estimating, or a related discipline.
- Solid working knowledge of AutoCAD, iScaf, or other scaffolding/CAD design software.
- Demonstrated experience preparing scaffolding drawings, layouts, estimates, and material take-offs.
- Ability to understand and interpret architectural, structural, and construction plans.
- Familiarity with Australian Standards and scaffolding practices is an advantage.
- Strong numerical, technical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple project requirements and meet deadlines.
- Comfortable working onsite and collaborating with clients and project teams.

Responsibilities:
- Reviewing client emails, reports and drawings, summarizing requirements and identifying missing information.
- Preparing job briefs, coordinating priorities and following up with the Seniors in the team.
- Managing document control, drawing revisions, submissions and correspondence.
- Tracking incoming jobs, progress, deadlines and upcoming work, with regular concise updates to the Director.
- Assisting the Director with information gathering, reporting, correspondence and day-to-day follow-ups.
- Preparing occasional CAD drawings for laser cutting and assisting with basic engineering tasks.
- Act as second-in-command and coordinate projects with the Seniors in the Team.
- Provide executive support and technical coordination.

Skills & Qualifications
- Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, or equivalent.
- Experience in structural steel fabrication.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and Space Gass or Ideastatica.
- Knowledge in Tekla is preferable.
- Strong problem-solving skills can work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Exceptional English reading comprehension and written communication are essential.
- Understand detailed technical information and communicate the key points clearly and accurately.
